How many hungry kids are there in Washington State?
According to statistics compiled by the Children’s Alliance, over 152,200 households in Washington State meet the definition of “hungry”. Children’s Alliance estimates that over 400,000 children in Washington live in households that struggle to put food on the table on a regular basis.
Why does Feed Washington prefer a recurring donation?
The recurring donation model provides inspiration to our current and potential donors by clearly showing our growth, momentum and the cumulative impact our collective donations are making. While “one time” donations are gladly accepted, we hope our donors will agree with the power of our business model and choose to make a monthly, recurring donation.
